7 Women Hit The Streets Wearing Wedding Gowns? – The Reason Will Leave You In Stitches

Have you ever seen seven women in wedding dresses at the same time? Probably not.

But for Houston residents out for dinner recently, they got an eyeful of white dresses, tons of tulle and when a group of lovely women showed up for dinner.

And there wasn’t a groom in sight!

The group, made up of a mom, four of her daughters and two of her daughters-in-laws, went viral last month.

“We decided that the most expensive dresses we owned deserved to be worn & enjoyed for more than just one day in our lives😆,” said Alexis Houston in a video posted on Instagram. The post has more than 4.7 million views.

Terri Bonin, the girls’ mother, said that she and her daughters have a monthly dinner tradition together. “(We like to) get out together without husbands or toddlers and eat and talk late into the night,” she said. Bonin is also the mom to 5 sons.

Bonin said they were inspired to wear their dresses after one of her daughters saw another video of a woman joking about what you could do while wearing a wedding dress. From there, it sparked their own idea for dinner out in their wedding gowns.

It was a ton of fun and we 10/10 recommend it,” she said.

Prior to the dinner outing, they all met up to dress for the night. Bonin, her daughters, Madeleine, Alexis, Annalise and Kate, along with daughters-in-law Hannah Joy and Sydnie, then headed out for dinner at a local restaurant.

Despite wearing all white, the women dined on colorful dinners and still stayed pristine. “There were no accidents,” Bonin joked. After dinner, the group went to a dessert place for cheesecake and coffee.

Other diners couldn’t help but notice the group. It was hilarious!” Bonin said. “We unknowingly picked the busiest night to go… A local high school was celebrating a graduation on the grounds. We felt a little bad about stealing the show, but we really didn’t know there would be a graduation there. The valet guys parked us for free.”

There was only one incident the entire night – Bonin couldn’t find her original wedding dress. But a quick fix was found.

“I lost my wedding dress,” she said. “I have no idea how or when. But thankfully Sydnie, my ‘daughter-in-love’, had loaned her high school prom dress to Kate a few years ago so it was hanging in one of our closets. I tried it on and it fit perfectly! Literally saved the day!”

All of the girls agreed that they would do this again, in a heartbeat.

“(My favorite part was) having to unload in front of all of those people at the graduation. Red in the face. And people trying to understand why there were two babies in the group of brides,” Hannah Joy Bonin said.

Also people thinking we had just gotten married and were just out and about without our grooms!”

For Terri Bonin, though, it was about the bonding between her and the girls.

“My favorite part was just making a spectacle and being silly with my girls. We definitely made a memory that will last a lifetime.”

She added that “each one of them is unique and special and they support each other, and I love that my daughters are best friends.”

The women plan to recreate the night again soon, but this time including another generation: their grandmother.
