Ukrainian strongman Dmytro Hrunskyi has once again made headlines, not for one, but three extraordinary feats of strength, setting new world records in jaw-dropping fashion. This 35-year-old from Dnipro has proven his mettle by accomplishing what many would deem impossible, all thanks to the hair on his chinny-chin-chin.
In a display of sheer determination and physical prowess, Hrunskyi tackled the challenge of pulling vehicles using unconventional methods. Armed with nothing but his beard, neck, and teeth, he embarked on a remarkable journey to etch his name into the annals of Guinness World Records.
First on the agenda was the heaviest vehicle pulled by the beard. He had previously tried to set the world record for the feat in 2019 but failed after his beard hairs were pulled while attempting the feat, the Guinness World Records said.
Despite that setback Hrunskyi’s perseverance paid off as he harnessed the strength of his meticulously groomed beard to secure the coveted title. Hrunskyi said that since his previous attempt, he “grew his beard longer” and “experimented” with different ways to braid his beard to make it “as strong and rope-like as possible.”
This time, Hrunskyi’s beard stayed strong and “intact” as he pulled a 2.58-tonne minibus. He broke the previous record set by Lithuania’s Antanas Kontrimas, who pulled a vehicle weighing 4,303 lbs. (1,952 kg) with his beard a decade ago.
But Hrunskyi didn’t stop with just that one record. He moved seamlessly to his next challenge – pulling a mammoth 7,760 kg (17,107 lb) vehicle by his neck. This incredible feat mirrored his earlier triumph of pulling a train weighing a staggering 71,650 lbs. (32,500 kg), showcasing his unmatched strength and resilience.
In a grand finale that left spectators in awe, Hrunskyi shattered his own record for the most cars (six) pulled with his teeth, now set at an astonishing seven. Each car, accompanied by a driver, posed a formidable challenge, but Hrunskyi’s unwavering determination propelled him to victory once again.
As the dust settled on his world records, Hrunskyi said he wouldn’t stop training and working to be the very best. “My hobby is extreme power tricks, and my goal is to be a multiple record holder,” he said. Yet, amidst the celebration of his remarkable achievements, Hrunskyi finds deeper significance in his triumphs.
“I dedicate this record to my country, Ukraine, which has been fighting … and does not give up,” he said, a testament to his unwavering patriotism and resilience in the face of challenges. Watch below to see the man, the beard and the broken world record!
