Owner Catches Kittens Being Taken From Their Mama – Who ‘Nabs’ Them Will Leave You Astonished

TikTok has fallen head over paws for an unusual feline family dynamic. A video shared by Aysha Clever (@ayshaclever) showcases two mama cats, Cheeto and Mellow, teaming up to raise their kittens — with some help from their shared baby daddy, Moose. The heartwarming tale of co-parenting and cuddles has racked up more than 1 million views and 240,000 likes, leaving users in stitches over the “beautiful blended family.”

In the video, ginger tabby Cheeto and white-furred Mellow can be seen grooming and caring for each other’s kittens as if they were their own. Cheeto carries Mellow’s kittens to her corner and nurses them alongside her own two babies. Later clips show Mellow returning the favor, creating a cozy scene of shared snuggles and teamwork. What truly caught TikTokers’ attention, however, was the baby daddy reveal. Both litters share the same father: a brown tabby named Moose.

We had 2 female cats deliver kittens 2 weeks apart. Both litters had the same father, and the 3 parents all co-parented the 5 kittens,” Clever said.

Clever rescued Mellow in 2020, and the two cats bonded instantly. Although Clever had plans to spay and neuter her pets, COVID-related challenges delayed the procedures, resulting in unplanned pregnancies for both females. Despite efforts to separate the cats during their heat cycles, Moose fathered both litters before being neutered.

Clever’s household grew chaotic as the births unfolded. Cheeto gave birth first, with her kittens Karat and Mango arriving after a prolonged labor. Sadly, her third kitten, Mandarin, passed away shortly after birth. Two weeks later, Mellow delivered her babies — Bison, Caribou and Blizzard — in Clever’s closet.

Clever initially worried that Cheeto might be jealous of Mellow’s newborns, but her fears were quickly dispelled. “She was so fidgety and jumped out of my arms and instantly started grooming Mellow and her three newborns,” Clever said. From that moment, Cheeto became a doting “aunt,” even sneaking off with Mellow’s kittens to integrate them into her own nest.

The trio of feline parents has been raising their five kittens together ever since. “The only issues we came across were when the moms had different opinions on which spot to put the kittens,” Clever said. The two mothers frequently carried the kittens back and forth across the house, while Moose took a laid-back role, babysitting from a distance but never moving the babies himself.

The feline family’s unique dynamic has captivated TikTok users. Comments like “It takes a village” and “Cats co-parenting better than people” flooded the video. Others joked about the situation, calling it “Sister Wives: Cats Edition”.

Cheeto and Mellow have since been spayed, making sure there will be no more surprises. Clever’s mom adopted one kitten, while she and her roommate kept the rest. The “blended family” saga has left a lasting impression, proving that love and teamwork transcend species.
