Sometimes little kids want something other than a toy as a gift. And in this day and age of videos catching moments that often we’d not see, a surprise present made a young boy and his mother, go viral, all for the most heartwarming video I have seen in a LONG time. I guess there is nothing else quite like brotherly love.
In a video that’s captured the internet’s affection, six-year-old Brayden Lowe of Manchester, England, experiences a flood of emotions as he learns some big news from his mother, Jade Jones. Opening a gift from her, Brayden’s reaction is nothing short of priceless. “At first he doesn’t understand but as he begins to read out the writing on the shirt, the realization sinks in,” Jade said, recounting the wonderful moment Braydon understood what his gift meant.
That is so lovely, Brayden said, as tears of joy start falling.
Jade said her son had always been the type of child who had big emotions and had to share them. “Brayden is quite an emotional child anyway and expresses all emotions quite well, but it was lovely to watch his reaction.” She said, “For the next 24 hours he told everyone he spoke to that mummy was having a baby, and wouldn’t take off the t-shirt.”
Expressing her delight at Brayden’s response, Jade said, “Brayden already has a little brother from his dad but he has wanted another sibling from myself for some time. And I think this is why he is so happy, he is finally having a sibling who will live with him and who he can look after all of the time.”
Indeed, Brayden’s excitement seems endless, his mom said, as he begins the months-long wait for a big brother. Jade believes he will be wonderful in this new role. “He will be an amazing big brother, he’s brilliant with his little brother already so will dote on this one entirely,” she said. Brayden’s emotional reaction and genuine happiness at the news have captured hearts around the world.

It is lovely to be able to see the pure joy and love that little Brayden already has for his unborn sibling.
