In his latest viral video, Krueger took on the challenge of including lyrics from the metal band Disturbed’s hit song “Down with the Sickness” into his weather report. The video, which has already garnered more than 1 million views, showcases Krueger’s creativity and flair for entertaining his audience.

It was a simple start for the music lover. “I’ve been sneaking lyrics in the weather for a little over a year now,” Krueger said. “It started when my social media followers started daring me or challenging me to say phrases and lyrics in the weather.”

Throughout the clip, Krueger effortlessly weaves the lyrics into his forecast, addressing topics like cedar pollen and Arctic air gusts with lines such as “drowning this in my sea of loathing” and “when silently in changes, violently it changes.” His enthusiasm for this musical reporting is evident as he delivers the weather with a playful nod to the song’s iconic “ooh-wah ah-ah-ah” refrain.

“This particular day, we were expecting a big burst of cedar pollen, which makes a lot of people feel sick,” Krueger said. “Thatā€™s why I decided to use ‘Down with the Sickness’ lyrics.” He finished this particular weather report with a spot-on lyric.Ā ā€œGet up, come on, get down with the sickness,ā€ he told his viewers.

Fans flooded the comments section with praise for Krueger’s clever integration of music and meteorology. One viewer wrote, “This is hands down the coolest weather report I’ve ever seen!”

Who knew weather could rock this hard?!,” said another viewer.

Despite his meteoric rise to fame, Krueger is grateful for the support he has received. “Some people say it makes their day to see these videos, or they laugh out loud and canā€™t wait to share it with their friends,” Krueger said. “Also, itā€™s the ultimate compliment when the band or musician I feature shares or comments on my video. In this one, Disturbed on Instagram commented ‘Awesome’.”

To all of his fellow meteorologists looking to amp up their reports, Krueger said remember to be yourself. “People connect with authenticity,” he said. “Also, for your own happiness and mental well-being, itā€™s important to have fun at work (as long as you keep it professional).”

Thankfully, no one will be seeing the end of this anytime soon.Ā  ā€œI definitely plan on doing more of what Iā€™ve been doing,” Krueger said. “Somehow, after about 200 songs, I havenā€™t run out of ideas yet.” Watch below for a look at the weather report, done Krueger style.
