Grandma Reveals Hilarious List Of Funeral Demands – And Rule #2 Is The Funniest Of The Bunch

Death is the great equalizer, it is said. After all, it’s the one thing we all share in common. Some people even find the planning of their funeral to be soothing. And for others, a way to talk about a tough subject with a bit of humor.

Lillian Droniak is a 92-year-old grandma, who thanks to her grandson, Kevin Droniak, has gone viral on TikTok thanks to her hilarious takes on her clothing, epic dating rules, and most recently, her list of rules guests at HER funeral must abide by.

On TikTok, Lillian, who lives in Connecticut, calls herself ‘Grandma Droniak. She has 4.1 million followers who love the eccentricity and humor she brings to her life. A grandmother to five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, Lillian decided it was time to list the rules for her inevitable funeral.

Rules

1 – Cry but not too much,

2 – Bertha isn’t invited and

3 – Get drunk afterward

A simple list for a simple woman – and is now one of Lillian’s most watched videos, with more than 31 million views. Her explanation of the rules makes a simple sense. Guests shouldn’t cry too much, she said, because “don’t make a fool of yourself.” Guests should get drunk, and “take a shot for me,” Lillian continued.

But her post’s ‘Bertha rule’ was the one that people were most curious about – Lillian said “Don’t let her in.” But that wasn’t enough – commenters needed to know more. So Lillian filmed a follow-up video to clarify the “Bertha rule.” She said that she “cut Bertha out of my life” a long time ago.

The reason? Bertha was “trying to talk to my husband” and tried to “copy off whatever I wore.” So it was simple – “If she comes to my funeral,” Lillian said, “kick her out because I don’t need her.” Lillian said that her goal with the TikTok was to get people talking about death. “It doesn’t need to be scary or taboo,” she said.

It helps you live life better if you’re not afraid.”

She posts videos every few days, and they are full of life advice. Kevin helps her sometimes with filming, but she said she is usually the one taking the videos. Her reach is impressive – she has more than 4.2 million followers, equally made up of younger people, as well as people closer to her own age.

Lillian said that her interactions with the young adults and teenagers  has taught her one important lesson – they are “crazier than  me when I was that age.” But in the end, it’s all about helping people. “I joke about death because it will happen to all of us, as scary as that is,” Lillian said, adding that we “might as well laugh about it.”

However, she assured her audience that she has no plans anytime soon of needing a funeral. It’s just good to be prepared. Watch this hilarious grandma, below! And if you’re interested in her equally funny list of dating rules, you can read about those here.
