After ‘Miracle Babies’ Spend Months In Hospital – Parents Get An Unforgettable Xmas Present

After more than 4 months of waiting, one couple got their Christmas miracle a bit early.

After a surprise pregnancy, and a surprise adoption – one family is bringing home their ‘miracles’ from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

And now this family of 3, will become a full house of six.

Zac and Britney Wolfe were finally able to bring home their triplets, to meet their recently adopted daughter, Charlie.

“Charlie finally got to meet her sisters and brother after 46 days in the NICU,” Zac said “Four babies under four months old may be quite the challenge, but we’ve got this.”

We have a great support system and have a lot of help.”

After an eight-year struggle with infertility, the Pennsylvania family is basking in the joy of parenthood after the surprise pregnancy of triplets.

The journey to this extraordinary moment began when the couple decided to pursue both adoption and embryo adoption after unsuccessful attempts with intrauterine insemination (IUI) and in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Their story took an unexpected turn earlier this year when a neighbor’s call led them to a local pregnant woman seeking adoptive parents.

“We met with her, and she asked us if we would adopt her baby,” Brittney said. “So, we were there from about the middle of her pregnancy. I was with her at her 20-week ultrasound when we found out it was a girl. I was there through all of her appointments.”

Charlie, who was born during the summer, was the start to an amazing year for this family.

Simultaneously, the Wolfe family continued their pursuit of embryo adoption, undergoing a second round. The couple had transferred three embryos, fully aware of the 50-50 chance of success. To their surprise, the ultrasound revealed not just one baby but three – Noa, Knox, and Navie – a less than 1% chance of triplets due to the quality of the embryos. The babies were born Oct. 19th at 30 weeks.

“When you’re going through this, you’re so stressed out,” Zac said. “And when Charlie came to us, I think that we weren’t stressed as much, and Brittney’s pregnancy went so good because we weren’t focused on the negative.”

We got Charlie. We were so happy, and Brittney’s pregnancy went amazing.”

Describing 2023 as the “best and craziest” year of their lives, they can’t help but feel happy about the future now that all of the babies are at home.

“We are so blessed,” Zac said.
