There’s a famous actor in Hollywood who is often considered one of the kindest men around.

What I didn’t know, though, was that the star had a habit of showing up at random people’s weddings for photos.

And that just proves again why the majority of America loves Keanu Reeves. Especially British couple James and Nikki Roadnight.

The pair got the shock of their life when “The Matrix” and “John Wick” actor showed up at their hotel. 

James said he saw Reeves at the bar, and sort of jokingly invited him to the reception.

“He was very friendly and said he would [come] later on,” Nikki said.

We didn’t know if he would or not but it was cool that my husband had spoken to him!”

But during the party, a hotel member announced that a ‘very special guest’ was waiting to meet them.

“I walked into the courtyard and there he was. Keanu Reeves was at our reception. I think I blurted out some words like ‘welcome to our wedding, my name is Nikki, do you want a drink?’ He said he’d had a long flight and politely declined before spending about 10 or 15 minutes having photos with us all,” the excited newlywed said.

She said that Reeves took time to talk to her wedding guests, as well as pose for candid shots.

“He was so kind and friendly and congratulated us on our wedding. He was kind enough to do some pictures and our wedding photographer was able to capture some too,” Nikki said. Even her mom got in some candid shots.

“My mum, Jo, took photos and shouted for everyone to yell ‘Speed’ as she took the photo,” Nikki said. “We laughed about that as it’s one of his older films! We are big fans.”

She said if she could have picked any star to meet, it would have been Reeves.

“For it to happen on my wedding day was out of this world.”

He held my hand, gave me a cuddle and said congratulations – it was just surreal.”

Nikki said she’d never forget this moment.

‘He was just so humble and kind. I got the impression he was genuinely happy to be there too. He didn’t have to come over but he went out of his way to do so and it’s something we will remember forever,” she said.

And just like that, Keanu Reeves made sure he would keep his well-earned title of ‘Kindest Actor In America.’
