Kayla Lee and her husband, Spencer, expected their wedding day to be unforgettable, but it was Kayla’s 8-year-old son, Lincoln, who left the entire reception in tears—before bringing it all back with a dose of humor.

The touching moment, captured by wedding videographer Arturo Jimenez, has since gone viral on TikTok with more than 12 million views and 1.5 million likes. In the video, Lincoln takes the mic and delivers a heartfelt toast that has stolen hearts across the internet.

“These two people in my life have been so good with me. They have made my life better,” Lincoln says as the camera cuts to the couple, with Spencer visibly emotional, covering his face. “I’m just saying that without these two, my life wouldn’t be my life.”

The entire room was moved by his words. But Lincoln wasn’t done. After taking a deep breath, he closed his speech with humor, saying, “Anyway, to wrap it up, I love everyone here. Thank you all for coming!” His lighthearted finish sent everyone into laughter before he ran to the couple for a big embrace.

Kayla said she and Spencer had no idea what Lincoln would say. “Two days before the wedding, we were discussing the order of speeches, and Lincoln asked, ‘Can I give a speech?’ I said, ‘Do you know what you want to say?’ And he just nodded, ‘Yeah, I think so.’”

That was it — we trusted him with the final speech.”

Wedding photographer Autumn Agrella and Jimenez both had kind words about Lincoln’s toast, telling Kayla how impressed they were by his performance. Beyond his speech, Lincoln’s retro-style mullet also caught some attention. Kayla shares that he’s been growing it for nearly two years and plans to keep it for as long as he can. The mullet had even matched Spencer’s, who had his own until cutting it last year for a wedding.

But the hairstyle isn’t the only thing that connects Lincoln and his stepdad. Lincoln not only served as the ring bearer at the California wedding but also stood proudly beside Spencer with the other groomsmen, a testament to their special bond. With his charm and humor, Lincoln stole the spotlight and created a memory his family—and millions online—won’t forget anytime soon.

“I didn’t even realize the way that Spencer was crying behind me … I didn’t even realize that he was crying that much because I was just so enveloped in Lincoln talking,” Kayla said. “We were like, ‘Oh my God.’”
